Ink Dyed Bird Skull
Bird skull* dyed black with india ink, ~2.5″x1″x1″.

I originally made for myself and used this a reference object, but currently my life doesn’t especially lend itself to either keeping or displaying delicate objects. I hope someone else can give it a better home. I used the same method for this piece as I did for the black coyote skulls in this piece.

Knucklebone Rings
Bobcat bones* mounted on cast metal (brass or sterling silver) bands and set with wire to match the band.

I designed and molded the pattern, cast the waxes and then centrifuge-cast the metal, filled and drilled and polished the bands, bleached and set the bones on each of these rings over the course of two years of study with Gunner Adamovics. These organic, hand-cast rings are a limited-run design will only be available for purchase online this once. Approximately a US size 7.

Bobcat knucklebone set on brass band – $40 each. (3 available)
Bobcat knucklebone set on sterling silver bands – $75 each. (1 currently available)

*NOTE: All bones used in my work were obtained legally and purchased directly through Paxton Gate. They are completely clean and safe to handle, but should not be submerged in water, or have creams or oils applied to them, as these can discolor the natural surface of the bone.
